Club News
Changing rooms start date
A little later than anticipated, however we are thrilled that work can finally start on freshening up the showers and changing facilities at the club. A much needed refurb is scheduled to get underway on 4th November. Please be aware that for a period of 3-4 weeks from this date members are asked to use the downstairs changing rooms and toilets to allow building work to be completed in the shortest time possible. Unfortunately this will mean our shower facilities will be out of action during this period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding as we work to upgrade your experience here and give you the facilities you deserve.
Combat Studio Upgrade
At the same time changing rooms are being upgraded, work will begin on transforming the old cafe into a new Combat Studio available for use to our members featuring a matted grappling area, cage wall, 15ft Boxing ring, multi bag station and lifting area. We are excited to be working alongside Ronin Combat to bring you the very best combat facility in the area. Watch this space for updates and the announcement of the official opening date!
New Glute Driver Machine Coming This Month
After popular demand from you guys, we have real pleasure in bringing the first of several new kit arrivals planned over the coming months... the Plate Loaded Glute Driver is due for delivery this month. We are always open to your suggestions and happy to hear about any new kit you feel would be a worthy addition to UNDRDOG Fitness.
New Member Software - Glofox
We are excited to be launching some NEW software this month as we say goodbye to our Clubright system and introduce the NEW Glofox software. With this smoother, more user friendly system you will have access to our own unique UNDRDOG app where you can book onto classes, purchase merchandise, chat and exchange advice in the community forum or even order your post workout shake so it’s ready for collection at the end of your session. Look out for further instructions coming soon as we strive to make this a smooth transition and an added benefit of being part of the UNDRDOG brand.

Triple Commonwealth Gold Medalist Comes to UNDRDOG
This month we are proud to announce tickets are available for a 6 hour seminar delivered by the one and only Delroy McQueen. Join us on December 1st as Delroy gives his expert advice and coaching to help improve your Bench Press, Deadlift and Squat.. an absolute must for all budding or experienced Powerlifters, or indeed anyone looking to build strength and power. Tickets are limited to only 20 spaces and have already started moving, so get yours quick! Tickets available at reception - £30/person.

WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT
First off, a huge congratulations to ‘Strong’ Steve for a gargantuan effort last month attempting to break a world record for longest distance travelled with a 300kg Yoke. Although the record was not beaten, Steve travelled a huge distance of 50 metres, supported by a fantastic gathering of members, family and friends. In the process Steve raised £1700 for a community de-fib machine to be stored here at UNDRDOG. Thanks Steve, great effort - next time that record is coming home!
RUNNING WITH THE BIG DOGS
Secondly, huge respect to Pixie (Jenna) Adams-Snowdon for agreeing to take on the London Marathon 2025 to raise funds for The Born Free Foundation. We wish you the very best of luck and are proud to support your training journey. Anyone wishing to donate to this fantastic cause and support her can find the QR code and sponsorship details on our UNDRDOG Community board in the gym.
ON FIRE
Next up, a huge congratulations to our very own Nat Winstone for completing her Firefighter training and becoming a fully fledged member of the Brandon Fire Service. Nat will continue to run her classes here at UNDRDOG and please bear with us if her beeper goes off mid-session. Rest assured, one of our capable instructors will take over!
BRITISH SAMBO OPEN
A huge shout out must go to our Ronin Combat partner Ian Cox for competing at the British Sambo Open, going the distance with the eventual winner of the Open and even taking a 4-0 lead with a Fireman’s Carry despite popping his shoulder blade out of joint at the same time!
POWER OF THE UNDRDOGS
Well done to another two of our amazing members; Powerlifters Hayden Fox for lifting just 10kg short of a total of 1000kg during the day at the WDC Deadlifting Competition and Caiden Whiteman for winning his category with a 412kg total at the BDFPA Event last month. Incredible effort and just another example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication.
HALLOWEEN BEAN BAGS
This month you may have seen we ran a Halloween Bean Bag competition - Throw 3 bean bags at a target every time you visit the gym, we add the scores at the end of the month and give prizes for the winners. Well here are the results:

DANCING FOR DISNEY
And finally, a massive well done to the staff, parents and most importantly, the dancers at Brandon School of Dance for travelling across the channel and performing at Euro Disney. We have watched the excitement build up for this over the last few weeks and seen first hand the dedication and hard work everyone involved has put in to make this trip a success. We are super proud to have you all here at UNDRDOG and love to see you going from strength to strength!
